Web 1.0 was the first version of the internet. It was like a big library where people could read information and facts directly from web pages. It didn't have the interactive features we have today. Web 1.0 was mainly about reading content and clicking links to move between pages. Websites were like digital books or catalogs without fancy visuals or interactive elements. Even simple sites like Craig's List or basic shopping carts are examples of Web 1.0 because they mainly show information or products without much interaction.
