Business Analyst

‘Work from Anywhere’ - Remote, WFH, or from our Boston or Davidson NC offices

The Business Analyst position requires a strong background in functional and technical requirements analysis, including experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria. A successful candidate will have the experience to work with stakeholders and domain experts, including senior management. Quoin has global clients, and this position includes the opportunity to work with individuals and organizations in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and in teams to ensure tasks are completed on-time and with high-quality output - Quoin project teams are committed to producing outstanding software and documentation.

Required skills
  • Work with clients to understand functional, technical, and operational requirements
  • Develop requirements documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process visualizations, and workflow models
  • Work with other organizations to define and implement data interoperability standards
  • Communicate requirements to project stakeholders, developers, and project management
  • Support project managers with effort estimation, tracking, and reporting
  • Participate in design and code reviews, and ensure the quality of all project documentation
  • Exhibit outstanding documentation, testing, and other development practices
  • Coordinate tasks and deliverables with project management and client stakeholders, as needed
Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as business or requirements analyst
  • Demonstrated success in engaging business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, or clarify requirements
  • Hands-on experience in agile, including development and deployment practices
  • Experience in enterprise systems development (SAP or other ERP) and data systems architecture
  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases
  • Experience in process modeling, visualization, workflow modeling
  • Outstanding communications skills and extraordinary attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate individual contributors with diverse technology and backgrounds
  • Ability to work independently
Additional Skills
  • Experience with requirements management and issue tracking tools
  • Technology for Development (T4D) or humanitarian services experience
  • International experience
  • Ability to work in another language (eg. Arabic, French, Spanish)

  • Salary commensurate with experience
